Hey yfritz! PV's list of exercises is great however, for me, I'd not waste my time (or back for that matter ) on sit ups. I recommend hollow holds and/or dead bugs.

I read a study once that said bicycle crunches were the best/quickest for overall ab development. So I do loads of them plus leg raises in various forms. Dead bugs are good for core if you cant do planks due to your injury.

Yfritz, paying for apps it’s a waste of money unless you want to track your progress/weights you lift.
I am not paying but putting my routine together before I start helps me a lot. I do in one hour what I would do in 2 probably if I was doing whatever comes to my mind. I can then get everything I need ready and that also helps me keeping my rests as short as possible.
You can find lots of ab circuits online without paying 💰

Apps are a very new thing! We never needed them before! I think it is better to engage the mind-body connection when training.
