Another day is here and the last few days have been rough, but i got my workout on the treadmill and with the xbox game that i got. I miss my carbs like pasta, bread, and rice, which have been taken over with zuccini noodles and a salad. Sometimes, almost everyday i want to get that starch stuff out and eat all of it. Sometimes i find myself taking 4 spagetti noodles which are regular, snapping them down to the tiniest pieces that i can, boil them, and eat those noodles with nothing on them. It may be only a few bites, but it curves those cravings.I have two best friends which one is leaving my life for good, which is pepsi and my hound dog. The pepsi must go as it has to much of everything in it. I like having a picture of just my hound and i with out seing a glass, bottle, or any type of pepsi on the photo or in my hand. This seem odd at first not getting my favorite cup out, grab the ice, and listen to the fizz of the first morning pepsi fizzing down in the cup. Pepsi has been exchanged for ice tea with sugar in it.

These life style changes are weird to me as i have used and still follow tips from members off of fatsecret, people i know, and a few other internet sites to conquer the loss of fat. I am am must keep going this website as many people and recipes have helped me keep motivated and reach my main goals and little goals on the way.

I share your pain, I'm still getting used to not eating fried food, specially meat... my favorite. But I guess that once we get to our target weight, we will be able to eat things that we love... but in moderation. Just hang on, the effort will pay off with a better health.

See if you can find shirataki noodles - they're a Japanese noodle made from wild yam root & have 0 calories, 0 sodium etc. The texture will never be like regular pasta, but if you prep them right, it's not bad. I have a spiral slicer so I do zucchini "angel hair" all the time - but I do love zucchini. I've used butternut squash too for the same thing, which has bit more of a pasta like texture. Can you have quinoa or amaranth grains? They're a good sub for rice & you can find quinoa pretty much everywhere now. You can also run cauliflower, parsnips or jicama through a food processor 'till you have rice sized bits & warm it in the micro for fake rice.
