Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I've got a head start on my cooking... a carrot cake was created and is waiting in the freezer. Many sides are partly done. I roasted the turkey today and made gravy. it will NOT be "left overs" but strategically prepared ahead so we have space for making other food for the crowd... we will have 13. How wonderful to have the bird carved and ready to heat in the crockpot! the mess is gone already! I will weigh in a few days. I will feast and enjoy my family and all the fun stuff we make together. Then it is head down and pushing hard during holiday sales at my store. I am finding it so much easier to keep on track with my calories when working so hard. I have no time to snack! I do have to watch that I don't eat too much when I get home and I feel too tired to care. Anyway... rambling message... I need sleep! Have a beautiful holiday!
