thank you for what you do also. I have to wear the capr, because my face is too skinny for any of those masks. I only wear it when I'm dealing with COVID + pts or possible COVID pts, because it starts to hurt my head after wearing it for awhile

RN16, when I saw your photo today I broke down. Thank you for posting that. I know those arms, I have those too. I remember the days when I had to transport a vented patient on a hill-rom bed to procedures… and how about constant pulling of the tabs of IV fluid bags? It’s nothing to sneeze at, especially in code blue or CRRT. My right arm is forever damaged I’m afraid. Please take good care of yourself, don’t be like me. When I weighed 98 lbs I had to wear PAPR too😂 early 2000s, our floor was 80% AIDS patients and some had to be isolated for TB precaution. I don’t even know how I was able to function. Be safe my sister💕
